Enroll in Wire Transfers

Send domestic and international wire transfers quickly and securely from your phone, computer, or tablet — enroll in digital wire transfers through City National Bank App® or City National Online®.

Digital wire transfers are available for consumer clients or sole proprietors with eligible City National Online account types. Digital wire transfers are limited to per transaction, daily, and 10-day rolling limits.

Enroll from the City National Bank App

  1. Sign in to the City National Bank App using your User ID and password.
  2. On the bottom row, select Move Money, then Wire Transfers.
  3. Review and agree to the Online Wire Transfer Agreement and Disclosure.
  4. You will see a message that says, 'We're processing your request.' You should receive an email confirmation within approximately one business day.  

Enroll from a web browser

  1. Sign in to City National Online using your User ID and password.
  2. On the account summary screen, select Payments & Transfers, then Wire Transfer Request.
  3. Review and agree to the Online Wire Transfer Agreement and Disclosure.
  4. You should receive an email confirmation within approximately one business day.
