To minimize delays in crediting incoming funds to your City National account, please provide the following information to the individual or business that is initiating the wire:

  • Domestic: Wire Routing Transit Number (RTN/ABA) 122016066
  • International: SWIFT/BIC code CINAUS6L
  • Bank Name: City National Bank
  • City, State: Los Angeles, CA (regardless of where your account is located)

If the incoming funds are originating outside the United States, please make sure that you review our Standard Incoming Wire Settlement Instructions for proper routing.

To minimize delays in crediting funds to your receiver, please provide the following information to the individual or business that is initiating the wire:

  • Domestic: Wire Routing Transit Number (RTN/ABA) 122016066
  • International: SWIFT/BIC code CINAUS6L
  • Bank Name: City National Bank
  • City, State: Los Angeles, CA (regardless of where your account is located)
  • Beneficiary Name and Account No.: Please provide the full name of beneficiary, full address (avoid PO Boxes), bank information (routing and account numbers)
  • For a list of currencies and routing instructions, please view our International Wire Payment Guide. Many countries have specific requirements, including purpose of payment for quickest payment processing. We suggest that you identify the requirements by country in the guide.

The SWIFT address is eight or 11 alphanumeric characters long and identifies the routing address for financial institutions. The SWIFT address is also known as the Business Identifier Code, or BIC.
