Randie Brooks Named Among Atlanta’s Leaders in Corporate Citizenship

Feb 08, 2021

Randie Brooks, vice president and relationship manager of City National’s Entertainment Banking team in Atlanta, has been recognized by Atlanta Business Chronicle as a “Corporate Citizen of the Year” for her incredible leadership and volunteer efforts during the ongoing pandemic crisis.

In just one example of her extensive community engagement, Brooks was instrumental in launching the Creative Industries Relief Grant Program (creATL), a public-private collaboration with Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, the Mayor's Office of Film & Entertainment, and Invest Atlanta. The program provided $1,000 grants to gig workers in the entertainment industry to alleviate economic hardship caused by project cancellations and other pandemic-related disruptions. The creATL fund was initially capitalized by donations from City National Bank and other local leaders in the industry – more than $500,000 was ultimately raised through the program to support Atlanta’s creative community.
