Boris Gluzberg, Charles Frazier, Todd Burach Named to Variety’s 2021 Dealmakers Impact Report

Three top sports bankers from Entertainment Banking division were honored as part of Variety’s annual Dealmakers list.

Three top sports bankers from City National’s Entertainment Banking division — Los Angeles-based SVP and team leader Charles Frazier, and New York’s Boris Gluzberg, SVP and team leader, and Todd Burach, SVP and senior relationship manager — were honored as part of Variety’s annual Dealmakers Impact Report list.

When sports and entertainment took a serious pause due to the pandemic, Gluzberg, Frazier and Burach were able to execute strategies that kept their clients in business. Gluzberg brought in a top business management firm to sign a deal for use of AgilLink, the cloud-based accounting and bill payment platform. Frazier secured nearly $20 million in PPP loans for clients, preserving the jobs of thousands of crewmembers and support staff in the sports, commercial production and entertainment industries. Burach, a leading private banker in the sports arena, provides banking services to three of the top 20 picks in the 2021 NFL draft and his clients signed more than $1 billion in new contracts during the 2021 free-agency period.
