City National Bank Expands in Nashville and Atlanta

LOS ANGELES – City National Bank, America’s Premier Private and Business Bank®, today announced that it has hired three more experienced professionals to add to its growing team in Nashville and a new banker in Atlanta.

“We continue to look for high-performing talent in both Atlanta and Nashville as our business expands and City National Bank’s reputation for superior service grows,” said Rich McCune, senior vice president and regional team manager of City National Entertainment Banking.

Carla Brown joins City National in Nashville as a vice president and senior relationship manager. Brown provides banking, lending and investment expertise to business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals, as well as wealthy families. With more than 20 years of experience, Brown partners with the bank’s team of experts to deliver a full range of services.

Chris Wyller joins City National as a vice president with Datafaction, the bank’s specialized accounting solutions subsidiary. Datafaction is a comprehensive accounting solution for business managers and accountants. Wyller, with more than 10 years of experience, will work closely with City National’s team of experts to provide solutions to the family office, sports management, business management and entertainment industries in Nashville, Atlanta and Florida.

Adam Geist joins City National in Nashville as a vice president and relationship manager. Geist provides City National’s full range of financial services to entrepreneurs, their families and their businesses in the region. He has more than a decade of wealth management, mergers and acquisitions and capital markets experience.

Josh Harris joined City National in Atlanta as a senior vice president with the bank’s Entertainment Banking team. He provides City National’s full complement of services to entertainment, commercial and middle-market companies in the region. Harris has nearly two decades of diverse financial services experience and has served in a variety of roles including retail, credit administration and corporate banking, among others.

City National opened its first Nashville office in 2011 on Music Row with a handful of employees and has now grown to nearly 25 bankers, principally to serve the entertainment industry in the Southeast. In Nashville, City National has grown to provide banking services to more than 80 percent of business managers and is expanding to serve other growing industries such as health care. Last year, City National added an additional 4,000-square-foot office space on Music Row.

“This community has embraced our unique brand of relationship banking during the past seven years since we opened in Nashville,” said Lori Badgett, senior vice president and team leader. “We launched our office here to serve the financial needs of the entertainment industry, and now we are expanding to serve many additional industries as well as business owners, entrepreneurs and their families.”

The bank’s Atlanta office opened with four colleagues in 2011 to serve the areas growing television and film production business. It now has more than a dozen colleagues and expects to have nearly 20 colleagues by the end of the year. Additionally, the bank expanded its office space in the heart of the financial district in Buckhead, growing from a 2,700-square-foot office space to more than 6,000-square-foot space.
