Jun 07, 2018

IRVINE, CA – City National Bank, California’s Premier Private and Business Bank®, today announced that for the fourth year in a row it has provided the Habitat for Humanity of Orange County’s 10th Annual Leaders Build with both volunteer and monetary support.  The bank participated once again as one of the Hammer Donors contributing $2,500 for four homes being built in the Fullerton area.  City National has contributed $10,000 to this program over the last four years.

Two of City National’s commercial banking colleagues volunteer for this event each year as they joined with approximately 60 top executives from companies throughout Orange County to help hard working families enjoy home ownership for the first time.

Habitat for Humanity of Orange County opened its doors in 1988 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on helping people realize the American dream of home ownership.  Over the past 30 years, Habitat for Humanity has built over 200 homes in Orange County serving more than 1,000 people.  Some of the more recognizable projects include the organizations first major development in Orange County, which consisted of 48 homes in Rancho Santa Margarita in partnership with Fieldstone Company in 1995.  The organization completed and dedicated its 100th home in Orange County in 2004, which was located in Costa Mesa.  This home was also the 1,000th Habitat for Humanity home in the state of California.
