Martha Henderson Named to 2022 Billboard Power List

City National’s head of Entertainment Banking recognized as a top executive shaping the music business. 

Martha Henderson, executive vice president and head of Entertainment Banking at City National Bank, has been named to Billboard's 2022 Power List. This is her first time being named to the list, which honors the top executives shaping the music business today.

Henderson was singled out for her ability to secure nearly 10,000 Paycheck Protection Program loans worth more than $1.2 billion. This kept the lights on for thousands of studios, bands, touring companies, production companies, law firms, non-profits and others. 

"My incredible team worked around the clock to help our clients obtain critical financing," she said. "It was a blizzard [of work] like I've never experienced in nearly 40 years since I've been in this business."

Henderson was also recognized for her unwavering commitment to local communities. She is a longtime supporter of Project Angel Food, where she is a member of its Circle of Angels. She serves on the boards of the Friends of Saban Community Clinic and The Geffen Playhouse, where she was previously a co-chair. She also volunteers her time to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles.
