Kelly Coffey Named One of the Most Powerful Women in Banking

City National CEO Kelly Coffey was named as one of the “Most Powerful Women in Banking,” by American Banker.

In its profile of Coffey, American Banker noted:  “City National has been on a growth tear,” since she joined City National as CEO in February 2019. “Her goal is a tech-fueled transformation… to be more of a digitally enabled relationship bank.”

This is the first time a woman from City National Bank has made the list.

Coffey has now ranked on all three of American Banker’s related lists. Last year, she made their “Women to Watch” list, which highlights top executives who have been on the job for less than a year, and she earned a place on their “Most Powerful Women in Finance” list before joining City National.
