In celebration of Women's History Month in March, City National colleagues volunteered with the Los Angeles Clippers, who hosted several events tailored towards young women, including a coding clinic and prom dress giveaway.

Young Women's Coding Clinic

On International Women's Day, March 8, STEAM:CODERS joined us at the Brotherhood Crusade's YouthSource Center to teach a group of middle school girls in South Los Angeles how to code.

Prom Dress Giveaway

On March 31, the L.A. Clippers Foundation hosted more than 150 young women from Los Angeles Unified high schools at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel in Inglewood for a prom dress giveaway. Each young woman received a dress, purse, accessories and a pair of shoes to ensure they had everything they needed for their prom. The program also stressed the importance of self-esteem, a healthy lifestyle and achieving goals.

With the assistance of volunteers from City National Bank and the Clippers organization, the young woman also enjoyed personal-stylist experiences as they put together their outfits.
