Marc Fisher

Marc Fisher serves as City National Bank’s compliance risk executive and is also a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team and Senior Management Team.

Marc joined City National in October 2023 to oversee the bank’s regulatory compliance and responsible growth. This role includes oversight of the bank's Fair Lending and Community Reinvestment Act efforts, enabling Marc to leverage his passion for fair and responsible banking. Additionally, as RBC’s U.S. chief compliance officer, Marc will be responsible for overseeing compliance risk management practices across RBC’s combined U.S. operations, including risk assessments, monitoring, testing, regulatory change management, training and reporting.

Marc has spent more than three decades working in compliance and risk management. He previously served as deputy chief compliance Officer for MUFG Americas, where he led the design and execution of the core compliance program focused on meeting Office of the Comptroller of the Currency Heightened Standards and Federal Reserve Board Enhanced Prudential Standards. Marc also led compliance efforts at Bank of America for the home loans and insurance divisions. He held senior roles at other institutions that include Countrywide Financial, Washington Mutual and Dime Savings Bank.

Marc earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan.
