Brandon Williams

Brandon Williams is executive vice president and head of Private Banking & Wealth Management at City National Bank. In this role, he leads the bank’s Private Bank and Wealth Management businesses, including City National Rochdale, City National Securities, Trust & Estate Services, and Advisory Services. He is a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team and Senior Management Team.

Brandon has more than 25 years of experience building and leading high-performing teams across Wealth Management, Private Banking, Commercial Banking and Consumer Banking. He joined City National in January 2016 to lead the bank’s East Coast Private Bank business and expansion strategy. He was promoted to his current role in September 2025.

Prior to joining City National, Brandon spent 14 years at TD Bank in senior executive roles, most recently as head of U.S. Wealth, where he led the transformation and expansion of the private bank, trust and estate services, investment management, and mass-affluent businesses. He previously served as chief of staff to the U.S. CEO, guiding enterprise strategic priorities during a period of rapid growth, and earlier led TD’s entry into the New York market, scaling it from a single office in 2001 to 85 offices by 2010 and building a $10 billion deposit base that established TD as one of the city’s largest banks.

Brandon is active in the community and supports a range of organizations. For the past nine years, he has served on the board of trustees for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Greater New York City-Long Island Chapter, including as former chair, and was the 2023 Dinner of Champions Honoree, where the event exceeded expectations by raising over $1 million. He is also a long-standing member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).
