Valerie Groh is a Senior Vice President and Private Banker with City National Bank’s Private Banking team. Based in New York, Valerie is an experienced advisor and is responsible for working with high-net-worth individuals and family offices to help them grow, preserve and transition their wealth.
Valerie has over 20 years of experience in the wealth management industry. Most recently, she served as a senior vice president and senior private banker with Wells Fargo Private Bank. Previously, she was a managing director at Modern Bank, a start-up boutique private bank. Valerie began her private banking career with NatWest, then joined HSBC (formerly Republic National Bank), where she worked for twelve years and was a member of its global media practice.
Valerie received a bachelor’s degree in French literature and politics from Mount Holyoke College. She holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, and a life insurance license.
Valerie serves on the board of the Cresskill Education Foundation, which supports local schools in the town where she resides.
