Matthew Smith is a vice president and branch manager at City National's Long Island Regional Center. He is tasked with leading his branch team to exemplary levels of service, identifying and implementing solutions for clients while maintaining the highest levels of operational integrity.
Prior to joining City National, Mr. Smith worked for Capital One, where he was a multi-site market manager with responsibilities to execute team-based service levels, market growth initiatives and risk mitigation strategies. Mr. Smith has extensive experience in financial services including prior responsibilities in residential lending, insurance services and investments.
Mr. Smith holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Outside of working hours, he is involved in many charitable and community activities. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
