How is Business Online for Mobile different from Business Online?
Business Online for Mobile offers a more limited set of features than those generally available within Business Online when using a non-mobile phone, such as, for example, a desktop computer. For example, the mobile version offers account balance and activity information, but account inquiries such as online statements and check images are not available in the mobile version. Also, you can make single transfers and payments from your mobile phone, but the option to make multiple transfers or multiple bill payments at once is not available in the mobile version.
How do I enroll for Business Online for Mobile?
No enrollment is required. The service is automatically available to Business Online clients and their system administrators. For users other than the system administrator, the system administrator must provide access to the service by entitling them.
How do I access Business Online for Mobile?
No apps to download – you can access Business Online for Mobile from any web-enabled mobile device. Just go to cnb.com using the browser on your mobile device, select Business Online from our Mobile Services menu, and you’re in.
What services can I access through Business Online for Mobile?
The mobile service offers access to view your deposit account balances and activity detail, make and approve transfers, make and approve bill payments, and search for City National branch and ATM locations.
Is City National Business Online for Mobile accessible from outside of the United States?
Yes, as long as the mobile phone has a working Internet connection, a client can use Business Online for Mobile.
What types of accounts can I access through Business Online for Mobile?
You can access any of your City National deposit accounts for balances and activity detail. However, you will not be able to access any of your City National loan accounts using Business Online for Mobile.
Can I make transfers with Business Online for Mobile?
Yes, you can make transfers between your City National deposit accounts. Please note, the accounts must first be set up for transfers within Business Online.
Can I approve transfers with Business Online for Mobile?
Yes, if your company has set up Business Online to require approval of transfers, any user with the Approve Transfers entitlement will see that option on his or her mobile phone and can approve or deny transfers.
Can I make bill payments with Business Online for Mobile?
Yes, you can make payments to any existing payee from your mobile phone. To add new payees, you must log on to Business Online from a non-mobile phone.
Can I approve bill payments with Business Online for Mobile?
Yes, if your company has set up approval requirements for bill payments, any user with approval rights will see the Approve Payment option on his or her mobile phone and can approve or deny a bill payment.
Can I cancel a bill payment with Business Online for Mobile?
Yes, you can cancel scheduled bill payments from your mobile phone. Each scheduled payment will display a Cancel Payment button until the bill payment goes into processing.
