City National Bank Grows Private Banking Team in Manhattan Beach

LOS ANGELES – City National Bank, America’s Premier Private and Business Bank®, announced today that it has expanded in Manhattan Beach, opening a Private Banking office across the street from the full-service branch the bank opened a decade ago.

“City National Bank is committed to the South Bay, and our team will continue to deliver the exceptional level of service and expertise that clients have come to expect,” said Peter Barbara, senior vice president and a manager with City National’s Private Banking division. “The new office is reflective of the dynamic growth of the Greater Los Angeles region, and we are honored to have played an important role in that growth over the last 65 years.”

The seasoned team of private bankers in Manhattan Beach, including Lisa Farley, Jim Fenton and Mariko Plumlee, each with an average of 18 years of industry experience, will continue to advise high-net-worth individuals, families, and their related professional services firms and non-profits, on all aspects of growing, protecting and transferring their wealth.

City National’s Manhattan Beach Private Banking office is located at 2301 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 2170, El Segundo, CA 90245. The bank has a strong presence in Long Beach and the South Bay area, with two Manhattan Beach offices, the City National Loan Center in El Segundo, a branch office in Torrance and a regional center and branch office in Long Beach. City National has been in the South Bay since 1965.

City National continues to expand in other cities across the U.S., including New York, Minneapolis, the newly opened Crenshaw District branch in Los Angeles and the upcoming Washington, D.C., office, which is scheduled to open in early 2018.
