City National’s Martha Henderson and Linda Duncombe earned top spots on Variety’s annual L.A. Women’s Impact Report. Henderson, as head of the bank’s entertainment banking division, facilitated a robust Paycheck Protection Program initiative to save struggling entertainment businesses. Duncombe, as chief marketing, product and digital officer, spearheaded City National’s philanthropic efforts, quadrupling the bank’s support for industry charities and orgs, and launched major sponsorships of the Tribeca Film Festival and Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe, while continuing its role as the official bank of the Tony Awards.
“It was very important that we showed our support,” said Duncombe. “This is the time when character is tested, and we’re standing up to it.”
