City National Banker One of the Most Influential Women in L.A.
Variety has named music banker Denise Colletta to the 2017 “Power of Women LA" list.
Colletta is the only banker who made the list, which includes executives drawn from companies associated with the entertainment industry, including agents, actors, producers, studio executives and attorneys. Also honored at an Oct. 13 luncheon at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons were Tina Fey, Gal Gadot, who recently starred in "Wonder Woman," Angelina Jolie and Chrissy Metz, of the television show "This Is Us."
The list "highlights the achievements of a wide range of talents, from the C-suite to the backlot," according to the magazine. City National's executive vice president and head of entertainment banking, Martha Henderson, made the list in 2010 and 2016.
Colletta, who heads City National Bank's music banking efforts in Los Angeles, led a team in 2016 that arranged one of the largest transactions in independent music in recent years: A $500 million credit facility led by City National Bank for ole, a Toronto-based independent music publishing and rights management company.
