The Wall Street Journal & MPTF Interview Linda Duncombe

Nov 30, 2022

City National's Chief Marketing, Product and Digital Officer Linda Duncombe was profiled in The Wall Street Journal. In the Q&A piece, Linda spoke about City National’s marketing strategies and digital solutions and its commitment to its communities, as well as her personal career development.

“Curiosity is unbelievably important,” Linda said. “I’m so grateful I never lost the curiosity I had as a child — it defines how I approach every new experience. It also guides how we make decisions at City National … Right now, we’re focused on staying curious about how our clients will continue to evolve after the accelerated change of pace over the past two to three years — and how we will help them as they do.”

Linda was also featured in a video series by the Motion Picture & Television Fund (MPTF), a nonprofit organization that provides working and retired members of the entertainment community with a safety net of health and social services. The show, “MPTF Influencers,” featured Linda in a one-on-one interview with MPTF’s Chief Development Officer Courtney Bailey. Linda discussed the importance of practicing corporate social responsibility, preserving City National’s digital ecosystem, and earning clients’ trust. A longtime supporter of MPTF, City National increased its support of the organization tenfold in 2022 — covering 1,000 weeks of groceries and two full-time social workers.
