What Cards will be included in a Household?
A. City National will automatically combine into a Household those Qualifying Cards that share the same Customer I.D. Number.  Qualifying Cards are those Cards that are issued under an account which is open and in good standing (i.e., not delinquent or otherwise unavailable for use) and which meets such other conditions as determined by CNB.  Customer I.D. Number refers to the unique identification number assigned to an account by CNB, which number is assigned to each Card issued under the account.  Accounts assigned the same tax identification number in CNB’s records will have the same Customer ID Number.

If you wish to develop a Household outside of the automatic Householding parameters, you may submit an application by visiting our Rewards program web site, cnb.com/rewards and clicking on the “Householding” link.

Can I link both my consumer and business cards to the same Rewards Account?

Our business organization has a Visa Commercial Credit Card account and a Business checking account under which Cards have been issued to our individual employees.  Can individual employees redeem the Points earned on their individual Cards?
A. With Visa Commercial Credit Cards and Visa Business Check Cards, under Householding, your business organization earns and has the right to redeem the Points earned on the Cards.  To redeem the Points, your business organization needs to identify and authorize up to two (2) individuals as Authorized Redeemers to access, view, manage and redeem the Points.  If your business organization would like to have the individual employee cardholders earn and redeem the Points on their individual Cards, you can elect to do so by completing and submitting the appropriate Redemption Authorization Form by visiting our Rewards program web site, www.cnb.com/rewards and clicking on the “Householding” link.   Points earned by individual employee cardholders will not be included in the Household.
